The ACHL staff is comprised of 30 experienced program directors, managers, coordinators, in-house creative services specialists, detail-oriented administrators, and content developers including MDs, PhDs, MBAs, nurses, and pharmacists who strive for the highest standard of readable, concise, and medically accurate content in order to build activities on strong educational foundations.

Our Executive Director, Fred Howayeck, RPh, received his pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1973 and subsequently did postgraduate coursework in the Sloan Business School at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Later, he worked for 18 years in sales management and training, market research, and product management for Eli Lilly, Bayer, and G.D. Searle. He continues to serve as preceptor to the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy where he is a visiting professor. He is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the Alliance for Continuing Education.
