Endovascular Advances: A Hands-on Preceptorship Program

This CME activity is designed to provide physicians with hands-on training in all aspects of managing peripheral arterial disease, including: SFA interventions, chronic limb ischemia, chronic total occlusions, and AV Access. Approved attendees will be trained for a two-day program under the direct supervision of the program faculty at the program site. Attendees can expect to gain exposure to vessel prep in the era of drug elution, atherectomy, CTO crossing strategies, and stenting.
This activity is intended for vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and interventional radiologists looking to expand their hands-on experience in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease and AV access.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Analyze risk assessment and diagnostic methods in peripheral arterial disease
• Compare and contrast medical, surgical, and endovascular treatment options for peripheral arterial disease
• Formulate strategies to manage potential complications
