This online, 60-minute activity will focus on the latest evidence on treatment for MDD, including growing awareness around the impact of emotional blunting. Discussions center on patient decision making around treatment and facilitating switching treatments in the presence of emotional blunting. Content includes the latest evidence and recommendations, case vignettes, and “How I Do It” best practices. The initiative also includes an animated patient-focused whiteboard that has been developed with the support of The Mighty and aims to help MDD patients understand the potential side effect of emotional blunting and engage in shared decision making about their treatment.
